Banquet 2009The banquet first made its appearance as a 10th anniversary celebration in 1995 and continues to grow. Its primary function is to raise funds for the ministry, giving people the opportunity to make an annual pledge and/or a one-time gift. In addition, we hope new people will be introduced to our mission. The banquet is held in the fall. Nearly 500 people gather to enjoy a lovely evening of fine food, mission updates and fellowship, plus they are given the opportunity to support the life-affirming ministry of Care Net. The board is involved with the banquet in several ways, including brainstorming for underwriters, serving as table hosts, and praying fervently.
