What does the face of an unplanned pregnancy look like?
Probably someone you know.Women facing unplanned pregnancies are not strangers. They are our neighbors, our classmates, our friends and even our daughters and granddaughters. They can be almost any age and race. They have the same hopes and cares that we all do. You know them. Will you help them?
Praying for these women and providing financial help is always appreciated. However, the most valuable contribution is your time. During unplanned pregnancies, these women have no one.
You can change that.
Volunteering as a client advocate at Care Net Pregnancy Center of Burlington for just a few hours a week could make the difference for a woman choosing between life and death. You could help insure that the natural instinct of a mother to love will never be replaced by a decision to abort.
No experience necessary. Care Net Pregnancy Center will provide you with the training you need to effectively encourage parents to choose life for their babies.
Training. A normal training seminar consists of 21 hours of instruction that includes:
- Important background information on various subjects like the biblical basis for the sanctity of life, fetal development, and abortion.
- Interactive peer counseling exercises.
- Teaching that is grounded upon the Word of God.
